Am I the only one that didn’t know there was a video made for this song? *looks around*

Marvin Gaye‘s “Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler)” is one of my favorite tracks from his classic 1971 LP, What’s Going On. After all these years of listening to this song, I decided to see if there were visuals that went along with the record. Lo and behold!

(Somewhere, Marvin is shaking his head at me).

The video is a black and white montage of everything inner city-related, shot in Harlem. Sadly, the record’s lyrical content still remains relevant today.
